Bitter Melon With Pork Ribs Soup (Tom Kra Dook Moo Ma Ra)

Bitter Melon With Pork Ribs Soup
(ต้มกระดูกหมูมะระ)



Ingredients
1. Pork Ribs                                        350 g.
2. Bitter Melon                              130-150 g.
3. Garlic                                              3   pcs.
4. White pepper seeds                          1  ts.
5. Coriander Roots                                2  pcs.
6. Dry Mushrooms                                  4 pcs.
7. Dry lycium fruit                                      15 g.                      
8. Salt                                                                  1 ts.
9. Mushroom Soy Sauce or Soy Sauce       2 tbs.
10.Sugar                                                1 ts.
11.Water                                             5 cup.

How to cook;
1.Soak dry mushrooms with hot water for 15 mins,until the mushrooms turn to soft

 2.While waiting for soak dry mushrooms.
Cut the bitter melon to medium size (**Follow the pictures)


Cut in 4 pcs


Cut half of each pcs.



Use spoon to get rid of the seed inside bitter melon

3.Add 1 ts of salt with 3 cup of water to and add bitter melon,leave for 5 mins
(In this process to reduce the bitter taste of the bitter melon)




4.Press the garlics. Dont press to hard,just enought to break the garlic.



 5.Boiled 5 cups of water in high heat.
Add pork ribs,garlics,coriander roots and white pepper seeds.
Boiled for 10 mins until the meat is cook and little bit soft.





Leave it for 10 mins.


6.Pour all the dirt bubble out. Adds 2 tbs of soy sauce ,1 ts of sugar bitter melon,dry mushroom and  dry lycium fruit.Leave it of 10 mins until the bitter melon is cooked                                






Leave it for 10 mins until it cooked
